Cybersecurity Expert Surya Pratap Singh Discovers Trojan Horse Virus in Indian Government Official Startup India Website. I believe I have found a Critical Security Problem in Indian government’s startupindia.gov.in Website
by Surya Pratap Singh, Director, Aezowie Infotech Services Private Limited
Recently, I analyzed www.startupindia.gov.in website of government and found a critical security problem in that website which I want to bring to your notice. I found the existence of a Trojan virus in the INFORMATION page of the website. The virus does exist in the Adobe PDF file [DO NOT OPEN THIS FILE: WARNING: “https://www.startupindia.gov.in/uploads/other/list_of_facilitators_for_trademarks.p__”] and working through Heap Spraying technique. This type of virus is generally used to control & steal the sensitive information from user’s systems. Thus, the systems of many users are at risk who downloaded this file from the website till now.
I have created a must see video of my finding & screenshot of scanned results. Please share this information regarding this issue so that startup India will fix their site and until then, people will not download that file from official startup India government website.
